We aim to process your personal data in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation).
In the context of our activities, we process your personal data for various purposes, as described below.
- Customer Management (contractual necessity). Customer management concerns our relationship with anyone who purchases audiovisual material, products, or services from us.
The following personal data is processed in the context of customer management:

- Financial details (payment information)
- Physical details (clothing sizes when purchasing clothing)
- Profession and occupation
The personal data is received directly from you or your company, client, or employer and may be supplemented with personal data obtained from public sources (e.g., your website, social media, etc.). Supplier Management (contractual necessity). Supplier management concerns our relationship with anyone who provides products or services to us, with the exception of artistic performances. If you provide performances as an artist (dancer, singer, announcer, actor, etc.), we also process this data, but a different privacy statement applies to you, specifically the Privacy Statement Productions.
The following personal data is processed in the context of supplier management:

- Profession and occupation
- Family composition (in the case of minor service providers)
- Physical characteristics (clothing sizes, physical features, etc.)

The personal data is received directly from you or through your company, client, or employer and may be supplemented with personal data obtained from public sources (e.g., your website, social media, etc.).
- Abuse Prevention (legitimate interests, i.e., the prevention and control of abuse). In certain cases, Fabric Magic may provide a fuel card, for example, for travel related to productions. In such cases, the location of your refueling is processed to verify the correct use of the fuel card.
The personal data is received from the fuel card provider.
- Artistic and Cultural Activities (legitimate interests, i.e., freedom of enterprise and the organization and operation of artistic and cultural activities, as well as the preservation and conservation of artistic and cultural expressions). As part of our main activities, we produce and operate audiovisual and other (artistic) works. The data of anyone involved in or appearing in these works, such as the audience at a performance or program, may be processed in this context. If you are involved in our artistic and cultural activities based on a performance as an artist, a different privacy statement applies to you, specifically the Privacy Statement Productions.

(Direct) Marketing (legitimate interests, i.e., freedom of enterprise or consent). We may personally inform our customers or other individuals interested in our business about our activities.
The following data may be processed in the context of direct marketing:

- Profession and occupation
- Public Relations (legitimate interests, i.e., freedom of enterprise). We process the following personal data to invite our contacts to our events and activities. Image and sound materials that we create in the context of our activities (e.g., behind-the-scenes recordings) can be used to share information about our activities.

- Compliance with Legal Obligations (legal obligation). In the context of legal obligations that apply to us, it may be necessary to process certain personal data.

If you become a member of our #ACADEMY, we process your personal data in the context of:
- Administration related to memberships (contractual necessity).
- Management of insurance (legal obligation).
- Organization of lessons (contractual necessity).
- Providing information about the activities of the Training School and its members (legitimate interest, i.e., freedom of enterprise).
- Providing information about the organization of auditions (legitimate interest, i.e., freedom of enterprise).
In this context, we process the following data:

- Financial details (payment information)
- Family composition (data of parents if you are a minor)
- Personal characteristics (age, gender, etc.)
- Physical characteristics (clothing sizes, physical features, etc.)
- Education and training
- Profession and occupation

In the context of the administration and registration of absences from our dance and singing lessons (legitimate interests, i.e., managing available spaces), you have the option to inform us of the reason for your absence. This may, only if you separately grant us explicit consent, include the processing of health-related data, particularly data that can be inferred from a doctor’s certificate or other medical statement that you may provide to us. In this case, these medical data (in deviation from the storage periods below) will be retained for a period of up to 1 month after the end of the membership period to which the absence relates.
The legal basis on which we rely has been indicated for each processing operation.
If the legal basis is contractual necessity or legal obligation, then the provision of personal data is necessary to enable the performance of the contract or to comply with a legal obligation.
The retention period for your personal data is limited to:
- Customer and member management: 10 years after the end of the agreement or membership, for as long as necessary to demonstrate compliance with our obligations in the context of a membership. Data that are no longer useful in this context are kept for 1 year after the end of a membership. After the end of this 1-year period, in the context of creating a candidate database for roles as an artist, we may extend the retention period for the same duration with your consent.
- Supplier management: 10 years after the end of the supplier relationship;
- Abuse prevention: 10 years after the end of the supplier relationship;
- Artistic and cultural activities: Personal data is actively processed for as long as it is useful in the context of production and exploitation, in line with the duration of the rights we possess. Data that are useful for potential future exploitation (based on additional or renewed rights we may acquire) and/or for the preservation of artistic and cultural expressions are subsequently archived.
- Direct marketing: 3 years after the last meaningful contact;
- Public relations: 3 years after the last meaningful contact; however, in contrast, image and sound material in the context of public relations may be processed for the entire duration of its exploitation, in accordance with the duration of the rights we have;
- Complaints and dispute management: as long as necessary for the follow-up of the dispute;
- Compliance with our legal obligations: retention in accordance with the legal retention period.
Additional information regarding the recipients of your personal data:
- We share your personal data with banks, insurance companies, and other partners for payment processing.
- We share your personal data with government agencies in the context of legal obligations.
- We share your personal data with our professional advisors, lawyers, and bailiffs as necessary for their assistance.
- We may use certain technical processors, such as website hosting, file and document hosting, with the implementation of the necessary data processing agreements.
- In the context of our artistic and cultural activities, we share personal data with production and exploitation partners, potential buyers of productions, (social) media and distribution channels, etc.
- In the context of our PR activities, image and sound recordings related to our activities may be shared on social media, our website, and with both internal and external individuals who may be interested in our activities (production partners, members of our dance school, personal contacts, etc.).
- We share data to a limited extent with our affiliated companies for marketing purposes and in the context of the administration of our group of companies.
Security of Processing: We have established appropriate safeguards for the personal data we process. No information system can guarantee 100% security. We strive to continuously improve the security of our systems. You also play an important role in the security of your personal data by keeping your account information confidential and adequately secure.
The General Data Protection Regulation grants you several rights concerning your personal data:
- The right to access and rectify your personal data.
- The right to object to the processing of your personal data for direct marketing purposes and the general right to object based on circumstances specific to your situation.
